Smoked Like Chimneys, Drank Like Fish: Raised Under the Influence
When I tell people about this title, it almost always gets a smile. Anyone who grew up like I did (without helicopter parents…just some friends and siblings to help me along) has stories they love to share. We look back and think, “Look I survived!” and we don’t whine about how we were neglected. As a matter of fact, who wanted parental interference in our escapades? We loved being kids and the memories that came with it. This book is a landing spot for the stories I always end up telling, the memories that usually make me laugh with my friends, siblings & relatives AND the master shift that has taken place in the way we parent now. Man is it different! Better, worse or just different? That’s for you to decide.
